Planning on joining us this season for a workshop? We are thrilled to be hosting many experienced teachers this season who will be teaching on a range of topics.

You can register below by adding any of the workshops to your cart. To view workshops descriptions head over to our Workshop Calendar.

Please note the time and location. This season we are hosting workshops at our new property in Montague (with a few exceptions – Growing Medicinal Herbs with Susan Pincus and Anti-Inflammatory Oxymels for Marginal Bodied People with Kerrita Mayfield will take place in Florence). Workshops are rain or shine and are held outdoors on grass with some uneven terrain. We have a covered location if it is pouring rain. If it is very bad weather we may cancel or postpone. When you sign up provide an email address for us to contact you in case of a last minute cancellation or delay.   There is an outdoor composting toilet available.

Please register in advance for classes and email us with any questions. Workshop  materials are included in the class fee. We believe that education should be accessible, while also compensating our teachers fairly. Please be in touch by email if you need a sliding pay scale.

Low-cost BIPOC tickets:

To honor Sawmill Herb Farm’s values of inclusion, reparations and accessibility, each upcoming summer workshop will hold at least two spots for low-cost BIPOC tickets at 50% off the posted workshop price.

We recognize Black, Indigenous and People of Color have been historically economically harmed, exploited and marginalized.

If you are BIPOC identified and interested in a low-cost BIPOC ticket for upcoming workshops, please use code 50OFF when registering for classes.

Refund policy:

  • If we cancel the workshop for any reason all registration fees are fully refunded
  • If a registrant withdraws from a workshop with more than 4 days notice (96 hours) a refund will be issued minus a $5 administrative fee
  • If a registrant withdraws from a workshop with less than 4 days notice (96 hours) or doesn’t show up for a workshop, no refund or exchanges will be given
