Herbal First Aid for the Frontlines

August 10 @ 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

This is a comprehensive workshop taught by Yahna Tullis on herbal first aid and seeks to equip individuals with the knowledge on how to provide immediate medical care for a wide range of conditions from cuts, scrapes, stomach aches, broken bones, and even gunshot wounds. The information presented in this workshop is not intended to replace medical care from a medical doctor. Participants will learn how to make a comfrey poultice, calendula wound wash, yarrow and cayenne hemostatic powder, and lemon balm simple tincture. Participants will take home several concoctions, cost is included in the price of the class.

Yahna Tullis is a certified herbalist with training from Sacred Vibes Apothecary, a certified athletic trainer with a B.S. in Athletic Training from the University of Pittsburgh, a dancer, singer/songwriter, filmmaker, and visual artist. She integrates the knowledge from her education as an athletic trainer, a spiritual herbalist, and an artist to curate a holistic healing experience for the mind, body, and soul.
