Fermentation and Preservation for Uncertain Times

October 22 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Join us for this class led by Corrina Wainwright. Class description coming soon.

Corrina is a public health practitioner, community herbalist, archivist, land steward, and dog mom. She studied Green Medicine and Ecological Herbalism under Peeka Trenkle and recently graduated from a two year Art and Practice of Spiritual Herbalism apprenticeship with Karen M. Rose of Sacred Vibes Apothecary in Brooklyn. Corrina’s herbalism practice merges her qualitative research and health equity background to hold space for the processes of healing. Her business, Harlem Roots @harlem.roots.herbal , uplifts Black ancestral wisdom through accessible plant medicine. When she’s not facilitating focus groups, Corrina can be found in her garden, making and studying plant medicine, or playing with her puppy, Eucalyptus Jade, in New Haven, CT where they currently reside.
